Q&A
What should I know before a hydrating glow injection?
How long does a hydrating injection last?
The hydrated feel comes relatively quickly; duration depends on your skin and environment. Many people start with 2–3 sessions a few weeks apart and then maintain according to their skin.
How is the treatment performed?
After numbing cream, moisturizing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid are finely injected into the skin, with the amount adjusted to skin thickness and dry areas.
When is a good time to get it?
Popular before events or photo shoots, when the season changes and skin gets dry, or to restore skin condition after laser treatment. Allow a few days before important events for the bumps to settle.
What is the recovery period?
Bumps usually settle in about a day, and slight bruising may last a few days. Most people can wear makeup from the next day.
What are the aftercare instructions?
Avoid makeup and vigorous cleansing on the day, and avoid saunas and alcohol for a few days. Using plenty of moisturizer helps keep skin hydrated.
How long does the treatment take?
Usually about an hour including numbing; the injection itself is quick. Many people come during their lunch break.
Who should not have a hydrating injection?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have inflammation or wounds in the treatment area, or have had a hypersensitivity reaction to the same ingredient, treatment should be postponed or another option considered. Please tell us about your medication and medical history during consultation.
Can I combine it with other skin boosters?
Since it focuses on hydration, combining it with regeneration- or elasticity-focused boosters often works well. Whether to do them on the same day or separately is decided based on your skin.
The number of sessions, duration of results and recovery time vary depending on individual skin condition. Details will be explained after consultation.
