Q&A
What should I know before ONDA lifting?
How does ONDA lifting work?
It is a microwave device by DEKA (Italy) that delivers thermal energy to the dermis and fat layer while cooling the skin surface. It increases elasticity through collagen regeneration and induces fat cell reduction.
How do the 3 mm and 7 mm handpieces differ?
The 3 mm handpiece stimulates dermal collagen for elasticity and immediate tightening, while the 7 mm handpiece acts on the deeper fat layer to help reduce fat. One or both are used depending on your concern.
How painful is it?
A surface cooling system makes it relatively comfortable. Pain perception differs by person, so feel free to tell us during consultation.
Can I return to daily life right away?
There is little surface damage, so most people resume daily life right after treatment. Temporary redness or warmth may occur.
When do results appear and how long do they last?
Many people feel tightening right after treatment, while collagen regeneration and fat reduction appear over weeks to months. Duration depends on your skin and lifestyle.
How many sessions are needed?
It depends on whether the goal is elasticity or fat reduction; one session or several at intervals are planned according to your skin. We explain the expected number after diagnosis.
Who should not have ONDA lifting?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have inflammation or wounds in the treatment area, or have had a hypersensitivity reaction to the same ingredient, treatment should be postponed or another option considered. Please tell us about your medication and medical history during consultation. Please tell us in advance if you have metal implants in the area or use a pacemaker.
Can it be combined with other lifting?
ONDA addresses both the dermis and fat layer, so combining it with texture-focused treatments or skin boosters often works well. The combination and order are decided during consultation.
The number of sessions, duration of results and recovery time vary depending on individual skin condition. Details will be explained after consultation.
