Q&A
What should I know before Juvelook?
How many Juvelook sessions are recommended?
It depends on your skin and goals, but a course is often 2–3 sessions about 4 weeks apart. Collagen forms gradually, so keeping the interval between sessions is important.
When do results appear?
A hydrated feel may come early, but elasticity and texture changes appear gradually over weeks to months as collagen forms. It aims for gradual change rather than instant volume.
How is the treatment performed?
After numbing cream, it is injected into the skin with fine needles, sometimes together with a device. Depth and amount are adjusted to skin thickness, pores and elasticity.
What is the recovery period?
Small bumps, redness or slight bruising may appear and usually settle within a few days. You may be advised to gently massage the area afterwards, so please follow the medical team's instructions.
What are the aftercare instructions?
Avoid makeup and strong stimulation on the day, and avoid saunas, alcohol and strenuous exercise for a few days. Moisturize and use sunscreen well.
How long does the treatment take?
Usually about an hour including numbing; the injection itself is shorter. Time varies with the area and any combined treatments.
Who should not have Juvelook?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have inflammation or wounds in the treatment area, or have had a hypersensitivity reaction to the same ingredient, treatment should be postponed or another option considered. Please tell us about your medication and medical history during consultation. Please also tell us if you are prone to keloids or recently had another treatment in the same area.
How long do results last?
Because Juvelook stimulates collagen, changes appear more gradually than with hydration-focused boosters and aim to last relatively long. Actual duration depends on your skin and lifestyle.
The number of sessions, duration of results and recovery time vary depending on individual skin condition. Details will be explained after consultation.
