Q&A
What should I know before Agnes contour lifting?
How does Agnes work?
Fine needles insulated at the top deliver radiofrequency energy only to the fat layer, selectively reducing fat cells. The skin surface and dermis are protected while collagen regeneration is also stimulated.
Which areas can be treated?
Mainly small fat areas that blur the face line, such as a double chin, jowls and under-eye fat. It is ideal for precisely refining small areas of the face where liposuction is a burden.
How many sessions are needed?
Depending on the amount of fat and desired change, some are satisfied after one session while others add sessions at intervals. We explain the expected number after diagnosis.
What is the recovery period?
Swelling, bruising and soreness may last from a few days to 1–2 weeks. Fat reduction and elasticity changes appear gradually over several weeks.
What are the aftercare instructions?
Avoid saunas, alcohol and strenuous exercise for a few days, and do not press the area firmly. Resting with your head slightly raised helps with swelling.
How is Agnes different from liposuction?
Liposuction removes a lot of fat at once but has a longer recovery and a risk of unevenness in thin areas. Agnes approaches only small fat areas with a needle, reducing recovery burden and precisely refining small facial areas.
Who should not have Agnes?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have inflammation or wounds in the treatment area, or have had a hypersensitivity reaction to the same ingredient, treatment should be postponed or another option considered. Please tell us about your medication and medical history during consultation. Treatment may be limited if you use an electronic medical device such as a pacemaker.
How long do results last?
Reduced fat cells do not grow back, so results are relatively long-lasting. However, the face line can change with weight or aging, so lifestyle care is also needed.
The number of sessions, duration of results and recovery time vary depending on individual skin condition. Details will be explained after consultation.
