LUVE Comfort Care

Different from sleep anesthesia:
sedation that keeps you conscious

It helps you receive treatment awake, yet more comfortably.

An inhalation sedation system that supplies oxygen and nitrous oxide mixed at a set ratio.
You breathe on your own and can respond to the medical team, while anxiety and tension during treatment are reduced.

MATRX Conscious Sedation

Not anesthesia that puts you to sleep,
but conscious sedation.

MATRX conscious sedation is a different concept from general anesthesia, which causes complete loss of consciousness.
At an appropriate level of sedation, you keep spontaneous breathing and the ability to communicate
while tension and anxiety are eased, helping you undergo treatment more calmly.

MATRX Conscious Sedation

The core of MATRX conscious sedation:
staying conscious while tension goes down

The level of sedation needed differs for each patient.

After checking the treatment type, pain sensitivity, level of anxiety and overall health,
it is important to carefully adjust the sedation level to each patient’s response.

POINT 01

Consciousness and breathing maintained

Sedation is induced while you can still communicate with the medical team.

You do not fall completely asleep; you stay conscious and breathe on your own, and treatment proceeds while you can respond to simple instructions when needed.

POINT 02

Adjusting the oxygen / nitrous oxide ratio

The sedation level is adjusted step by step according to your response.

The flow and mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide can be adjusted, so rather than over-sedating from the start, we reach the needed level gradually while checking your condition.

POINT 03

Checking recovery after treatment

After stopping the sedation gas, oxygen is supplied and recovery is checked.

After nitrous oxide inhalation ends, oxygen is supplied while your consciousness and condition are checked. Once your recovery is confirmed, the medical team advises you on going home and returning to daily life.

Lowering the burden of treatment:
how MATRX conscious sedation works

Comfortable treatment starts not just by reducing pain, but by managing tension and anxiety before treatment as well.

LUVE MATRX Sedation

Not just the sedation device —
checking the patient’s condition is what matters.

It is not applied the same way to every patient.
Suitability must be judged after checking current medication, underlying conditions, respiratory status, treatment type and expected pain.

Q&A

How does MATRX conscious sedation work?

How is it different from general (sleep) anesthesia?

MATRX conscious sedation lowers tension and discomfort without putting you to sleep. You stay conscious and breathe on your own, and can talk with the medical team during treatment.

How does it work?

You inhale a mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide through the nose. The ratio is adjusted step by step while watching your response, reaching only the level of sedation needed.

Which treatments can it be used with?

It can be used with lasers, lifting and injection treatments that cause significant pain or tension. Suitability is decided after checking the treatment type and expected pain.

Can I go back to daily life right after?

After treatment, nitrous oxide is stopped and oxygen is supplied while your recovery is checked. You go home once the medical team confirms recovery; please follow their guidance about driving that day.

What is checked beforehand?

We check your medical history, medication and previous anesthesia or sedation experience to decide whether it is suitable. Please be sure to share any relevant details during consultation.

Will I lose consciousness completely?

No. MATRX sedation lowers tension and anxiety while you stay conscious, so you can respond to simple instructions during treatment. It is different from sleep anesthesia.

Will I feel no pain at all with sedation?

Sedation helps reduce tension and discomfort but does not eliminate pain completely. When needed, numbing cream or local anesthesia is added and pain management is planned for each treatment.

Can anyone receive it?

Most people can, but it may not be suitable during pregnancy or with certain respiratory or ear conditions. We check your medical history during consultation to decide.

The number of sessions, duration of results and recovery time vary depending on individual skin condition. Details will be explained after consultation.
