Q&A
Body contouring — where should I start?
How is body contouring different from dieting?
Dieting reduces overall body weight, while body contouring adds volume where needed and reduces unnecessary fat or muscle to balance your lines. It focuses on silhouette and proportion rather than weight.
Which treatments are combined?
Buttocks, hips and breasts gain volume with filler; excess fat is refined with fat-dissolving injections and HIFU body laser; and developed muscles such as calves and trapezius are reduced with body Botox. The combination is decided after a body assessment.
Is there a change without surgery?
Non-surgical treatments suit natural refinement of lines rather than dramatic surgical change. We will honestly tell you during consultation whether non-surgical treatment is enough for the change you want.
What is the recovery period?
Most treatments involve no incision, so daily life can resume the same or next day. Depending on the area, swelling, bruising or soreness may last a few days.
What are the aftercare instructions?
Avoid pressing the area firmly or wearing tight clothes for long periods. Avoid saunas, alcohol and strenuous exercise for a few days and follow the medical team's instructions.
How long do body treatments last?
It depends on the treatment: body filler lasts several months to over a year, muscle Botox usually several months, and reduced fat cells tend to stay reduced, though lines can change with weight.
Who should not have body treatments?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have inflammation or wounds in the treatment area, or have had a hypersensitivity reaction to the same ingredient, treatment should be postponed or another option considered. Please tell us about your medication and medical history during consultation.
Can several areas be treated at once?
Depending on the areas and treatments, several can be done at once. Whether to do them together or separately is decided during consultation, considering recovery, schedule and amount used.
The number of sessions, duration of results and recovery time vary depending on individual skin condition. Details will be explained after consultation.
