Q&A
What would you like to know about body filler and body Botox?
How long does body filler last?
It depends on area, amount and metabolism, usually several months to over a year. Areas that move more may be absorbed faster.
Can hip dips be improved with filler?
Hip dips — the hollows on the sides of the buttocks — can be filled with hyaluronic acid filler to create a smooth hip line. Injection position and amount are designed to suit your body curves.
How long does calf or trapezius Botox last?
Muscle Botox usually lasts several months, and with repetition muscle volume decreases so results often last longer. Effects appear gradually over several weeks.
What is recovery like after body filler?
It is done with micro-injections without incisions, so most people resume daily life the same day. Swelling, soreness or bruising may last a few days.
What are the aftercare instructions?
Do not press or massage filler areas, and after buttock filler avoid sitting for long periods for a while. Avoid saunas, alcohol and strenuous exercise for a few days.
How long does body filler treatment take?
It depends on the area and amount, usually about an hour including design and numbing. Treating several areas may take longer.
Who should not have body filler or Botox?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have inflammation or wounds in the treatment area, or have had a hypersensitivity reaction to the same ingredient, treatment should be postponed or another option considered. Please tell us about your medication and medical history during consultation. Botox may not be suitable for people with neuromuscular disorders.
Will the filler clump or be palpable?
We inject in several layers suited to your body and tissue depth to achieve a natural feel. It may be temporarily palpable early on but usually settles over time.
The number of sessions, duration of results and recovery time vary depending on individual skin condition. Details will be explained after consultation.
