Q&A
What would you like to know about fillers and Botox?
How long do fillers last?
Hyaluronic acid fillers usually last several months to over a year depending on area, product, amount and your metabolism. Lips, which move a lot, tend to fade faster; less mobile areas last longer.
How long does Botox last?
Wrinkle Botox generally lasts about 3–6 months, while jaw Botox for reducing muscle size often lasts longer with repeated treatment. As results vary, we decide the next session after checking your progress.
Can I return to daily life right after filler?
Most people can resume normal activities the same day. Swelling or slight bruising may appear for a few days, so allow 1–2 weeks before important events.
I'm worried about Botox resistance.
Repeating large doses at short intervals increases the chance of resistance. LUVE uses only the appropriate amount where needed and helps you choose products with a lower risk of resistance.
What are the aftercare instructions?
Do not press or massage treated areas, and avoid saunas, alcohol and strenuous exercise for a few days. After Botox, avoid lying down or lying face down for a few hours.
Can I get filler and Botox on the same day?
If the areas or goals differ, they are often done together on the same day. When treating the same area, order and amount need adjusting, so it is decided after consultation.
Can filler be reversed if I don't like it?
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme, so correction is possible if needed. Our principle, however, is to design with small amounts from the start so correction is not needed.
Who should not have filler or Botox?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have inflammation or wounds in the treatment area, or have had a hypersensitivity reaction to the same ingredient, treatment should be postponed or another option considered. Please tell us about your medication and medical history during consultation. Botox may not be suitable for people with neuromuscular disorders.
The number of sessions, duration of results and recovery time vary depending on individual skin condition. Details will be explained after consultation.
